First International Match Win

 Bhutan Men’s team snatched their first international match win on 13th June 2004 after beating Iran by 86 runs during ACC Trophy which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2004.

A blistering 48 knocked from Thinley Wangchuk Dorji and devastating bowling figure 3 for 9 in 5.1 overs from the tallest pace bowler Lobzang Yonten helped Bhutan secure the first international match win.

Mr Baba Sourjah from Brisbane, Australia was the national coach.

Thinley Wangchuk Dorji is currently the Honorable President of Bhutan Cricket while Lobzang Yonten is based in New York.
